This marks a historic milestone for both BINUS University and Indonesia. BINUS University has officially received the handover as host of the QS Higher Ed Summit: Asia Pacific 2026 from Korea University.
The summit will take place on 3–5 November 2026 in Bali, Indonesia, serving as a significant platform for Indonesian higher education institutions to step onto the global stage. The event is expected to welcome hundreds of leading universities from across the Asia Pacific region, with more than 1,500 delegates in attendance.
The official handover was received directly by Mr. Stephen Wahyudi Santoso, President of BINUS Higher Education, together with the Rector of BINUS University, Dr. Nelly, S.Kom., M.M. Currently ranked 165th in Asia in the QS Asia University Rankings 2026, BINUS University’s appointment as host further reinforces its commitment and strategic role in elevating Indonesian higher education to the global arena.
